Although there are many questionable programs, free-to-air television remains a tremendous source of knowledge and entertainment. Unfortunately, with our antennas we cannot catch many more channels than we have in our countries, but that is where Internet television and IPTV lists come into play.

These lists compile thousands of public television channels to watch from anywhere in the world. One in particular has more than 10,000 free TV channels, and We are going to teach you how to configure this huge IPTV list on a Fire TV.

First of all, we are going to prepare the Amazon Fire TV to be able to watch this immense number of channels. There are many applications that are focused on playing IPTV lists, but in this case, we are going to opt for Kodi.

It is a multipurpose application that we can configure practically however we want to make it a complete entertainment center and, although it is not available in the Amazon App Store, we can install it very easily.

Before installing Kodi, you must prepare your Fire TV to be able to install applications from unknown sources. To do that, you must follow the following steps:

This is a setting that, if you have Android and have installed .apk apps, will sound familiar to you. With this, what we achieve is to be able to install applications downloaded outside of the official Amazon store. Speaking of this, we must download Downloader.

To do this, we go to the magnifying glass icon on the main screen of the Fire TV and manually search for “Downloader”. If you prefer, you can download and transfer it directly from your Amazon account through this link.

This is how I made my own IPTV list with all the free DTT channels
This is the application that will allow us to download and install .apk applications and, once we have it, all we have to do is download Kodi. To do this, we have this link on the company’s official website and you have to click on the Android icon (the Fire TV is an Android device) and install version ARMV7A (32BIT).

We already have Kodi in its Nexus version installed on the Fire TV. Now it’s time to configure the IPTV list with more channels than you will be able to see in your entire life.

To do it, We open Kodi and the first thing I recommend you do is change the language. The application is very intuitive, but if you cannot find the option, you must go to the gear icon at the top, select ‘Interface’ and change the language from the menu that opens. This way, you will have it in Spanish or whatever you prefer.

Now, let’s go with the IPTV list. It is a titanic work of compilation by IPTV orga group of developers who have compiled on GitHub all the public links that television networks use to broadcast over the Internet.

I didn't expect it to convince me, but I ended up preferring an Amazon Fire TV over a Google Chromecast
It is very, very updated, you have channels from all over the world and the most important thing is that it is legal. As we say, yesThis is public content that you can access over the Internetbut everything compiled and chewed in a single list for us to enjoy on our television or mobile phone.

You can access the project through this GitHub page and you will see several options, but the most important are ‘How to use’ and ‘Playlist’. Speaking of lists, there are two:

List with all channels, except those with adult content:
https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.m3u
List with all the previous channels, but also with others for adults:
https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.nsfw.m3u
There are other lists that are very interesting. For example, In the one we leave below, you have all the content that is broadcast in Spanish, whatever country they are from. There are 2,096 channels at the time of writing:

https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/languages/spa.m3u
Wave Spain content listwith 318 channels.
https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/countries/es.m3u
In fact, in addition to filtering by country, you can filter by regional television if that is the only thing that interests you. As you can see, it is very complete and now it’s time to introduce those IPTV lists into the Kodi of our Fire TV.

If you look closely, at the top right the text “The PVR Manager is starting. Loading channels from clients” will appear. When that process is finished, you go to the TV screen from the left menu and all the new channels should appear.

Don’t get overwhelmed, but there are more than 10,000 and the good thing is that you have several ways to organize them. In addition, there is a useful programming guide to know what you are watching and what you will see next and even a programming tool.

There is literally everything, so All you have to do is enjoy all this content public both in your country and in the rest or have this method as an option to watch television in case the antenna does not reach you or the traditional broadcast does not have the quality you are looking for.
