Streaming content has greatly expanded in recent years, causing the platforms to concentrate abysmal traffic. Of course, the contents on demand are not the only ones available. Thanks to IPTV technology, channels can be consumed completely free, even when they arrive from the other side of the ocean.
Although normally IPTV is usually frowned upon because certain people use this technology to offer open paid content, can also be used to offer free channels that have no distribution in certain countries. In fact, this is just what GitHub has done.
As they say in La Razón, this list is open to anyone who wants to install it. What it offers are 7,285 completely free channels and that they are in different languages, English being the most used, although there is also content in Spanish or other languages as it is such a long list.
As changing the channel between this enormous content proposal is something unfeasible, the list offers groups depending on the content category, country or language. All this allows for 1,052 channels from all over the world to be found in Spanish and if we focus only on those from Spain, these channels are 245.
The installation of these channels is not complicated, in fact, they can be enjoyed from mobile devices as well as from entertainment centers such as Chromecast with Google TV or Amazon Fire TV Cube. For this you need to install different applications, although the most comfortable is VLC.
In the case of having Kodi installed on these computers, it can also be accessed, although the process is different. Let’s focus on VLC which is the most used player on all devices and, most likely, you have it installed on your device. First of all, The first thing you will have to do is paste the address that we leave you in the browser.
The address is as follows: https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.nsfw.m3u. You’ll need to copy it into your browser, though be careful not to include the final punctuation mark as it’s not part of the address. When you copy it and hit search, what will happen is that the download of a file will start.
This file is the one that you will have to add to VLC to be able to enjoy the channels. When opening VLC you will have to go to the ‘Media’ section, after this select ‘Open File’ and select the downloaded file. VLC will start collecting the channels. By default it will start with the first one, although you will be able to see the list of channels from the ‘View’ menu.
Also, if you can’t download the file, you can also access the list from VLC. To do this you have to go back to the ‘Media’ menu and the ‘Open network location’ option, what you would have to do now is paste the URL address that we left you a few lines ago and with this you will be able to see the channels without a problem.
