Andrea Pirlo has officially hung up his boots after 22 years of professional football.
The 39-year-old ended his playing career at the close of last season’s MLS campaign.
He played 118 times for Italy, winning the World Cup with his country in 2006.
Pirlo also twice lifted the Champions League with AC Milan and won the Serie A title on six occasions – four times for Juventus.
His testimonial is at the San Siro tonight.

The broadcaster will show the 7.45pm kick off on Sky Sports Premier League (402).
The coverage starts from 7.40pm.
