Being a wife, a mother, or 40 years old should not be prerequisites for a role as a heroine. I am extremely proud to be a mother and wife. In my opinion, it is an essential part of being a woman, but these roles must not influence my professional decisions. Obviously, I now have significant responsibilities outside of my profession. However, having a family that is supportive makes it easier to balance personal and professional obligations.
Tamil is my favourite language, and I feel most at home in the Tamil industry. When I am filming in other states, I typically stay in hotels. However, I decided to purchase a home in Chennai, as I consider this city to be my home. In this regard, I am most closely related to the Tamil language and culture. I’m a 100 per cent Tamil girl. Therefore, I did not even consider a different industry for my production company.”
