Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE will use the exact same main camera as the Galaxy S24, S23, and S23 FE, a new report claims. It will have 50 MP resolution and a 1/1.57″ sensor size with 1.0μm pixels. This isn’t very surprising, considering how much Samsung loves recycling, but at least if you were expecting anything different you now know better.
The S24 FE is said to be launching in late fall at the earliest – but definitely not any sooner, given where it is in the development stage currently. It might also appear in early 2025, or perhaps select markets will get it at the end of this year with more availability coming the next, emulating what happened with its predecessor, release timeline-wise.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
The S24 FE allegedly has the model number SM-S721 and the codename R12 (the S23 FE was codenamed R11). These are all the details that have been outed this time around, but with the launch apparently being many months away, we expect to hear much more about the S24 FE in the coming weeks.
