New Xbox 360 sale includes over 80 non-backwards compatible games

Update 2:
A new editor’s note published on Xbox Wire explains that some games are either not set at the correct price on the Xbox 360 store or are not showing at all.

Microsoft says the affected titles are Just Dance 2014, Vodoo Dice, Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition, Need For Speed Undercover, Burnout 3: Takedown, Lego Harry Potter, Harry Potter for Kinect, and Fight Night Round 3.

This is obviously good news, as it seemed yesterday that most of these had been quietly delisted. Hopefully, Microsoft will be able to resolve issues with these titles soon.

Update:
Discounts on non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games have now gone live, and it appears that a fair chunk of the 90+ games originally listed on Xbox Wire have been removed. Games such as Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4, Need for Speed: Undercover, and Harry Potter for Kinect, which were included by Microsoft in its Xbox Wire article, may have been stealthily delisted.

The Xbox Wire article has been updated once more, and it sounds like more discounts could be on the way: “We’re still currently working on updating and verifying the list for publication. Thanks for your patience.”

Original story:
After permanently discounting over 60 non-backwards Xbox 360 games last month, Microsoft has just slashed the price of a load more! Microsoft’s second non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games sale is now live, giving players yet another chance to grab a range of 360 games before they’re delisted for good when the Xbox 360 Store closes in July.

As previously announced by Microsoft, all the games listed below and the 60+ games from the last sale, have been permanently discounted. These prices will remain in place until the Xbox 360 store closes on July 29, 2024.

Including the discounts below and the previous sale on May 13, over 140 non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games have now been permanently discounted. Microsoft has also confirmed that a third and final sale is scheduled for July 16, 2024, so keep your eyes peeled for even more price reductions on that date.

Here are all of the latest non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games to receive a discount. To avoid games with any flagged unobtainable or discontinued achievements, make sure you check out the ‘info’ column. For a further breakdown of this sale, head over to the Xbox Sales page.
