The Road to the Women’s College World Series for the SEC begins Tuesday at Auburn’s Jane B. Moore Field.
And if the regular season showed anything, the 2024 SEC Softball Tournament won’t be an easy one to come out of with the league’s automatic qualifier up for grabs ahead of the NCAA softball tournament.

The Tennessee Lady Vols pulled out a sweep vs. Kentucky over the weekend to win their second straight outright SEC regular season title to clinch the top overall seed in the SEC softball tournament. Redshirt freshman infielder Taylor Pannell played heroic on Sunday to cap off the sweep for the Lady Vols as the Milan, Illinois native hit a walk-off home run against the Wildcats.
With the Lady Vols clinching the outright title and Florida sweeping its series against No. 8 Texas A&M, the Gators moved into the No. 2 seed in this year’s tournament. Winners of nine of their last 12 games, the Gators won by the rule-ahead rule on Sunday against the Aggies, 11-3.
Texas A&M, Arkansas and Missouri round out the top five in the field. Here’s what you need to know about the 2024 SEC Softball Tournament:
The 2024 SEC Softball Tournament will be held at Jane B. Moore Field on the campus of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama from Tuesday, May 7 through Saturday, May 11.

Due to the inclement weather in Alabama on Thursday, the quarterfinals did not start until 6 p.m. CT on Thursday. As a result, Arkansas vs. Missouri was suspended, whereas Florida vs. Georgia and Texas A&M vs. South Carolina were moved to Friday morning.
The 2024 SEC Softball Tournament will air on the ESPN family of networks. The SEC Network will air each of the games from the opening round through the quarterfinals; ESPN2 will air both the semifinal games and the championship game. Streaming options include the ESPN app and Fubo, which offers a free trial for select users.
