43 new homes in Kilkenny get the green light

The new housing development will be built in Freshford, Co Kilkenny

Planning permission was given with 29 conditions attached

The green light has been given by Kilkenny County Council for the construction of 43 new houses in the county.

A new residential development is due to be built on Bohercrussia Street, Tobernapeastia in Freshford, Co Kilkenny.

These new 43 homes will consist of detached two-storey four/five bedroom houses with direct access to Bohercrussia Street.

There will also be a number of two-storey detached four-bedroom homes; two-storey semi-detached three-bedroom homes and two-storey blocks of two-bedroom town houses along with three-bedroom end of terrace homes.

Alterations will also be made to the existing site entrance and approach route including a new section of public footpath along Bohercrussia Street.

Permission has also been given for all the associated site works such as landscaping, infrastructure and site enclosures at Bohercrussia Street.

The permission was granted with 29 conditions attached.
