Shallenberger’s homer gave the Purple Aces all they needed as they hung on to win 6-5.
With the win, Evansville became the only No. 4 seed to make it past the Regional this year and just the ninth No. 4 seed ever to advance to the Super Regionals. The Purple Aces will now face top-seeded Tennessee in the Super Regionals.
Oregon State 11, UC Irvine 6
The matchup between Oregon State and UC Irvine was a continuation of Sunday night’s Regional Final, which was postponed due to rain. The Beavers led 6-4 in the bottom of the fourth when the game was postponed.
After the continuation began Monday, Oregon State’s offense came alive. UC Irvine cut into the lead in the bottom of the fourth, but the Beavers had two come across after an RBI single and a walk with the bases loaded.
Oregon State tacked on another three runs across the sixth, seventh and eighth innings before Dallas Macias gave the Beavers a comfortable 11-6 lead on a home run in the top of the ninth.

Florida 4, Oklahoma State 2
In a relatively low-scoring affair, Florida advanced to the Super Regionals for the 16th time in program history.
The Gators jumped out to a 2-0 lead after an RBI single from Ashton Wilson that drove in a pair of runners in the third inning. The two sides then traded runs in the fourth inning to make it a 3-1 Florida lead.
Oklahoma State made it a one-run game in the fifth, but the Gators took a 4-2 lead in the sixth on a solo homer from Tyler Shelnut.

Florida held onto that lead after sitting nine Oklahoma State batters down in a row to advance to the Super Regionals, where the Gators will face Clemson.
North Carolina 4, LSU 3
There was no shortage of drama as North Carolina downed the defending champs in extra innings on Monday.
The two teams traded a pair of runs each through the first two innings before LSU took a 3-2 lead in the third, holding on to that lead all the way to the top of the ninth.
With the season on the line, North Carolina’s Colby Wilkerson drilled a single to drive in Gavin Gallaher and tie the game.

The Tar Heels couldn’t push the winning run across, but shut LSU down in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.
In the top of the 10th inning, North Carolina got a runner in scoring position thanks to an error from LSU, and Alex Madera hit a go-ahead RBI single up the middle to make it a 4-3 game.

In the bottom of the 10th, LSU got a pair of runners on base with two outs, but couldn’t get anyone home as its season came to an end. North Carolina will now face West Virginia in the Super Regionals.
UConn 7, Oklahoma 1
UConn dominated on the mound to earn their third Super Regionals trip in program history with a Friday night win over Oklahoma.
Huskies starting pitcher Gabe Van Emon opened the contest with 7.1 shutout innings. He allowed just five hits and two walks over the stretch.
The call on the field is overturned and the double play helps Gabe toss a scoreless first! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/HookC?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#HookC</a> // ESPN <a href="https://t.co/9XZ1wNTPma">pic.twitter.com/9XZ1wNTPma</a>
Meanwhile UConn climbed out to a six-run lead thanks to two-run homers from Korey Morton and Maddix Dalena. The homer marked Dalena’s first hit of the tournament:

The Sooners scored on a double-play groundout late in the bottom of the ninth, but weren’t able to overcome the Huskies’ pitching in the 7-1 elimination loss.
UConn will now have a shot at a ticket to the College World Series if they can earn two victories over No. 8 Florida State in Tallahassee.
