The results are in for Palm Beach County students. How did your school do on this year’s statewide tests?
The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) exams replaced the grade-level Florida Standards Assessments in 2023.
Over the past year, Palm Beach County students took the exams three different times: Once between Aug. 14 and Sept. 29, a second time between Dec. 4 and Jan. 26 and a final time between May 1 and May 31.
The computer-based exams had 35 to 40 questions that included lessons from throughout the year, even those teachers had not yet covered. The questions got easier or harder based on how the students responded.
Students who scored a three on the exam were considered to be at grade level, while a score of five was the highest.
