Street Fighter 6 is sambaing its way through the sizzling summer as Capcom has announced the monthly update for August: the Summer Samba Slam Fighting Pass.
A new trailer is out showcasing what all the pass has to offer in terms of carnival-themed gear for your avatar, stickers, character fight cards and more. There’s more, however, as this month has a special secondary theme as well.
Capcom is running a special promotion with Japanese restaurant chain Sushiro for the month of August and that means sushi-themed goodies in the Battle Hub, specifically at the photo booth.
July kicked off a new Fighting Pass practice as it introduced custom special effects for the New Challenger screen, and this month we get a festive confetti and laser beam splash to get us ready for the next battle.
Wrestling fans will appreciate that the Saturday Night Slam Masters will be available to play in the Battle Hub this month. There’s a familiar face or two in the 1993 Capcom title as you can play as Final Fight’s Mike Haggar while you beat up on Hulk Hogan lookalikes.
