She spent several years in Enugu, although the Oge Okoye state of origin is Anambra's Nnewi town. She had completed her primary and secondary education in the UK before relocating to Nigeria, where she joined the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Akwa in Anambra State. At this higher institution of studies, she learned and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre.

Is Oge Okoye related to Psquare? She was born to parents who are devoted Anglican Christians. Her father, who passed away in 2000 was called Mazi Okoye while Oge Okoye mother is known as Lolo Okoye.
