Hundreds of Jersey City public school seniors must use one of two alternative pathways to graduate after failing one or both parts of the state Graduation Proficiency Assessment.
Hundreds of Jersey City high school seniors are in danger of not graduating this year, the results of a statewide exam revealed.
“It is disturbing,” Board of Education President DeJon Morris said. “It is our responsibility to make sure we provide a level of education that will allow our scholars to be prepared not only for proficiency tests, but for the challenges in the world and the next level of education.”
