Final Four weekend is upon us and the March Madness events kick off with the 2024 College Slam Dunk Contest.
The field consists of several high-flyers looking to make some noise, headlined by NCAA Tournament participants like Arizona’s Keshad Johnson, Grand Canyon’s Gabe McGlothan and Iowa State’s Hason Ward.
As some of the best dunkers in college basketball gather under one roof at Global Credit Union Arena in Phoenix, who will emerge with the Slam Dunk Contest crown?

The field of nine participants will each perform one dunk. The four best scores will advance to the semifinals.
From there, each remaining participant will perform another dunk, and the two best scores will advance to the championship round.
The two remaining participants will do one final dunk, and the best score will be crowned the 2024 Slam Dunk Contest champion.
There are no set times for the NCAA skills contests, but the event kicks off at 9 p.m. ET.
First, there will be a men’s and women’s 3-Point Contest, and the winners of each shootout will compete in a “Battle of the Champions.”
The night will conclude with the College Slam Dunk Contest after the 3-Point Contests.
The College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships will air Thursday, April 4, at 9 p.m. ET. The competitions will be held at the Global Credit Union Arena in Phoenix, Ariz.
ESPN will air the College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships. Viewers can also stream the competitions on Sling.
